Larise Krishnan was born and raised in Pretoria, South Africa. She started her career in the entertainment industry at the age of 6, winning the solo traditional dance category at the National Tamil Eisteddfod in 2005. Larise has always had a knack for entertaining and simply bringing people joy. While she's had a passion for entertaining, a huge interest in sports started at age 5 and she played football until 17. Larise couldn't split the two passions and identifies as an aspiring sports host/presenter. Her aim for the coming years and future is to grow within the entertainment industry and shed new light as a South African Indian actress and producing powerhouse. Using the combination of her heritage, skills, and aspirations, Larise hopes to pave the way for other women and girls who don't quite fit into the tailor-made boxes of the industry.
